Dust off your eskies – Sydney’s favourite Christmas tradition is back.
The 36-Hour Seafood Marathon sees Sydney Fish Market retailers open their doors for 36 hours straight, from 5am on the 23rd of December, to 5pm on Christmas Eve.
Let’s crunch the numbers:
- More than 100,000 customers are expected to walk through our doors in these 36 hours. Don’t worry, extra parking is available at Sydney Secondary College Blackwattle Bay, just across the water. All parking is charged at a $10 flat rate for the duration of the marathon, so you can take your time.
- Over 350 tonnes of seafood is expected to be sold on site this Christmas. That includes 120 tonnes of prawns, and almost 70,000 dozen oysters.
